When setting a table for a fancy meal, does the spork go on the right of the plate or the left?

The spork is a very picky and unusual utensil. It prefers too stand in the middle, right on the plate; neither leaning to the right or left. The spork is neutral.

I composed a ballad; the tale of the Spork!
Better than spoon and better than fork.
We use it not often, but when we do,
It raises a great big hullaballoo.
Some people say that it goes on the right,
Others say left and put up a fight.
These quarrlesome fools should just all agree,
Put the spork in the middle for all to see!

Thank you! But, logically, when your meal came, you would take the spork off of the plate and use it to eat.

Why, yes it would. But sporks aren't very logical in the first place, are they?
